Customer Rating: Summary: Worth the price Comment: I have had (and been disappointed) in less expensive Braun foil shavers. This one however is a great improvement and theoretically will be a better buy in the long run because it is possible to replace the parts which wear.
A bit bulky but worth the extra cost. I needed the sideburn/mustache/beard trimmer which seems to work perfectly (once one acquires the steady hand which is needed to avoid quaint gouges in the beard/mustache).
It you are looking for a foil electric with pop up trimmer- get this one. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Shave Comment: After using a Remington for many years, I burnt out the charger in Europe. So, I decided to look for a product that could handle multi-voltages. I wish I had looked earlier. This Braun is wonderful. It provides a great shave catching all the hairs the Remington missed. The charge lasts at least two weeks and it charges quickly. The only negative thing to say is that it's a little heavy. Customer Rating: Summary: Glad I Came Back to Braun Comment: This is the second Braun shaver that I've owned. The first one lasted about eight years until the battery finally gave up. I then decided to buy a Remington which turned out to be a big mistake as the battery lasted only three years before it died.
I decided to come back to Braun and purchased this model with which I am very happy. I get about eight or nine shaves to a charge and the shave is always close and comfortable. Also, I have a mustache and the built-in trimmer comes in handy and does a very accurate job.
Braun makes a solid, reliable product and I would highly recommend this model to anyone in the market for a new electric shaver. Customer Rating: Summary: The razor for tender skin Comment: After the usual 5-7 years, it was time to replace my razor. The battery was beginning to need charging in a decreasing number of days each week. I know I've been using them for at least 36 years. My skin has become thinner and more fragile as I've aged. Each new Braun has been better than it's ancestor and this one is no exception. It is quieter, faster, and less abrasive than its predecessors. I want to completely discharge it a third time before I measure the exact charge lifespan but it's already usable for almost two weeks without a charge. It's a great razor and again, I love it! Customer Rating: Summary: Braun 7505 is my third Braun shaver. Comment: This is my third Braun shaver. They seem to be lasting about ten years. I have tried several brands of electrics, but the Braun shavers work best for me.
For my beard, the Braun gives a closer, longer-lasting shave than a blade (even the three and four blade vibrating razors). Of course, different beards may have different results.
The new 7505 is quiet, powerful, and the best shaver I've owned. It is worthy successor to my venerable 4504. I don't see the need for the "bells and whistles" on more expensive Brauns.
