Customer Rating: Summary: Good but too small for Serta Crib Mattress Comment: I bought this after we wore out the Carter's Mattress pads because I have this brand on my older son's twin bed. I was happy with that fit and so I bought this one. Its a good product but it is too small and we have to struggle to put it on the bed and I am always afraid of ripping the side elastic. Fortunately, my son has moved to a toddler bed so we just take the whole mattress off the bed. I am much happier with the Target brand mattress we bought at the same time and it has held up just as well. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Mattress Pad and EASY to care for Comment: I have owned several mattress pads for my kids over the years and this is by far the best. I was amazed that this pad was so soft, plush and yet works so well. All you feel is super soft, bouyant cotton and it doesn't have any strange "plasticy" smell or crunchy sound like so many waterproof pads have. It seems to have the best absorbancy yet and the fit is superb! It is easy to apply to the mattress and yet never seems to shift or bag at the edges. This is the first waterproof mattress pad that I have been able to put into the dryer for ONE cycle and have it come out DRY! I know, amazing concept, isn't it? I wash these pads on hot and dry them on medium and I have not had any shrinking or problems with wear. I wash them weekly or more often if needed.
I really recommend these pads to anyone with babies or small children. It's always good to have 2 per child....one is always ready when the other becomes soiled (due to an accident or sickness)....and as most parents know, children tend to get sick about the same time as their siblings.
