Summary: A fine product for those who want to sleep with windows wide open.
Comment: For those who want plenty of fresh air, without closing shades or blinds at night, these sleep masks offer that opportunity. Facing the ocean on the East Coast, as we do, we get the morning sun and reflections off the water. Without masks, the only way to deal with the early morning brightness, especially on those longest days of the year in June, has always been to close the shades or blinds. This means that we cannot take advantage of the freshness of the air and the bird sounds that make life off the beaten path so enjoyable.

These sleep masks do the trick. They fit well, and they do block out all the light. We can keep the windows and sliding doors completely open and enjoy the air. The masks consist of a layer of impermeable, man-made fabric with what feels like a heavy plastic liner between the layers. Washing them is a breeze--just wet them, rub with soap, and rinse in the a.m., and in less than an hour they are completely dry.

One mask can last for months, the only problem being the normal result of elastic that gets stretched and may need reinforcement where it joins the mask itself, not a problem for the first several months. One order of five masks can easily last a year.

We keep an extra supply of these on hand for guests, who love being able to enjoy the fresh air while not being disturbed by the brightness of a 5:30 a.m. sunrise. n Mary Whipple

Summary: Very comfortable and a good price but....
Comment: The airline style sleep masks arrived very quickly, and it's difficult to get the quantity for the price. They are a good cost and are very comfortable to wear. But, the problem is that due to the type of fabric that is used, after just a few uses, they begin to have an unpleasant odor. This is easily fixed by handwashing the mask every week or so.
