Comment: We use this noisemaker in our baby's room. We love it. She sleeps well and I don't have to worry about all of the World's noises waking her up at night (we live near the end of a base runway so we have large helos and C130s and sometimes F18s flying low over the house).

Summary: The Best Sleep Aid-Ever
Comment: I have tried various devices before with all different types of sounds, but nothing comes close to this, as far as drowning out all types of noise. It is well designed and simple to operate. I have been a light sleeper for all of my life and the Sleep Mate is a tremendous help. I plan on taking it on all my trips out of town. If you live near noisy inconsiderate neighbors, you really should try this. Ron

Comment: We have recently employed the Marpac 980a in a clinical situation. This unit seems to work very well for masking conversations in adjacent rooms. Very much worth the price!

Summary: Works Great!
Comment: I used to sleep with a floor fan on just because I slept better with the noise of the fan. I decided to give this White Noise Machine a try and I really like it! I was able to adjust it so it matched the sound of the floor fan I was used to. When I have it on, I don't hear my teenagers bumping around in the house after I've gone to bed and I no longer have to put up with the "breeze" from the fan. You can adjust the tone of the white noise by simply twisting the casing and it has 2 speeds. I recently took it on an out-of-town trip and used it at the hotels to help block out the noise there as well. I think it works great!

Summary: Well, well, worth the purchase!
Comment: I have these in every room of my home. When guest stay over, they love using the sleep mate. Also, when my granddaughter was born last year, I used the sleep mate in her room while she was taking naps during the day. She would, well, sleep like a baby....smiling. It does a great job of filtering out all the noise outside her bedroom window. Well, well worth the purchase!!
