KneedIT XM is a magnetic variation of the original KneedIT, but the objective is the same: to assist in the relief of minor knee pain commonly associated with arthritis, tendonitis and chondromalacia. As you move, it gently applies pressure to the joint liner and patellar tendon and assists in the relief of minor knee pain, soreness, stiffness and inflammation. By stabilizing the inferior pole of the patella, KneedIT XM also may improve patellar tracking. This product introduces the use of magnetic therapy. "Magna-Therapy", as it often is called, utilizes magnetic pads attached to appendage to enhance natural healing in the patellar tendon and/or ligament areas of the knee. Although not yet approved by the U.S. FDA, magnetic therapy is being investigated as a new remedy for many Repetitive Stress Injuries by the National Institute of Health Office of Alternative Medicine.

Summary: Great Product
Comment: This review is supposed to be for the KneedIT XM Magnetic Threapeutic Knee Guard but since the manufacture sent me the wrong product which was the forearm version BandIT XM, I will talk about that instead. I highly recommend the product if you are a sufferer of Tennis elbow, Tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, or just have pain in that area from repetitive motion. I have used other elbow bands and nothing was like the BandIT, as its almost magical the way it works. You actually feel it the moment you put it on. The area of discomfort starts to feel warm. I really beleive it actually promotes healing as well due to the magnetic technology that seems to increase blood flow to the tissue and in turn you feel less pain. Since I was so impressed I decided to keep it. I am assuming the KneedIT XM works just as well. I will be ordering that next as originally intended.

Comment: My husband used one on each knee. It seemed to help but it would slip down so he couldn't wear it during the day. He tried wearing it at night but it caused his skin to itch. He gave it up.

Comment: Did not work for me. I have tried it 3 different times and it did nothing but make my knee more painful. I thought with the magnets it would help more than the one without because I wear hemetite (magnectic) jewelery for my wrist and fingers.

Summary: Falls off when you sweat!!!!
Comment: I love this band!!! Helps out alot for my pain...but after about a mile of running the band starts to slip off due to sweating:(((( therefore having to stop to tighten it up...not very condusive if you are trying to run more than a mile.

Summary: KneedIT Magnetic Therepy knee guard
Comment: It works well for my knees .. walk dog three and one/half miles (twice weekly) ... nearly seventy years old ...needed some knee support. I would recommend the magnetic addition as magnets seem to have some beneficial effect on me. However,that should be left to indivudual choice.
